The new Leader of Essex County Council, has declared a Pothole Emergency, making road and pavement repairs a top priority for the new administration.

At today's Council’s Annual General Meeting, the new Leader confirmed urgent action to improve road conditions across Essex.

This follows feedback from residents, with highway maintenance consistently raised as the number one concern.

A detailed action plan will set out how we will improve roads and pavements across the county 🚧
