Happy International Youth Day!
At EF, we are proud to support young people as they grow, lead, and make an impact, while strengthening their voices through improved English and communication skills.
With the support of @MastercardFdn, we continue to co-create with young people and equip them with the skills and opportunities they need to succeed.
May we all continue to listen to young people, amplify their voices, and create spaces where they can lead.

Efekta Rwanda was proud to join @Rwanda_Edu at the THE ORATOR National English Competition Award Ceremony, celebrating students who demonstrated exceptional confidence, creativity, and excellence in English communication.
Watching young people step onto the stage to share their ideas, think critically, and express themselves with confidence was a powerful reminder of why English proficiency matters. It opens doors, builds confidence, and creates opportunities.
We're grateful to support initiatives that empower the next generation with the skills they need to thrive.
Congratulations to all the winners and every student who took part. Your voices matter, and we're excited to see where they take you next. 👏

A little throwback to the first of many Team Rwanda retreats. 🇷🇼🧡
Two days of exploring our products, testing new platform updates, sharing ideas and feedback, playing fun games, and strengthening the team behind the impact we get to create every day.
Grateful to do meaningful work with people who make it even more fun. Here's to many more moments like these.

Today, the EF Rwanda team visited the Nyanza Genocide Memorial in Kicukiro to pay tribute to the victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.
The memorial is the final resting place of approximately 105,000 victims. Taking time to visit, learn, and reflect was a powerful reminder of the importance of remembering our history and the people whose lives were taken.
As we continue through #Kwibuka32, we remember those we lost, stand with survivors, and carry forward the lessons that help us build a more united and compassionate Rwanda.

Within the last two weeks, Master Trainers have been doing what they do best: training others. 👏🏾
After receiving training on the English Proficiency Program themselves, they went on to train ICT teachers from about 2,500 schools across 57 sites nationwide. These ICT teachers will now support educators in their schools by providing timely guidance, answering frequently asked questions about the program, and strengthening local Communities of Practice. This will help ensure the program is successfully implemented at the school level. 💪🏽

What does it take for a large-scale education program to succeed?🤔
Co-creation with the target audience at every stage, and a real shift in mindset and behaviour.
For the nationwide English Proficiency Program for educators, EF & @UrunanaDC are partnering on a social behaviour change campaign through the famous radio soap opera Urunana 📻 and radio sketches, designed to drive awareness, engagement, and positive change.
Today marked the official start of our 4-day workshop 🎬 to co-create relatable content that will support this shift. #EducationTransformation
Today, the EF and REB teams continued their nationwide outreach in Ruhango and Nyanza districts engaging over 300 headteachers and SEIs in the English Proficiency Program.
DDEs, DEOs, SES, SEIs, and all headteachers are expected to attend to strengthen accountability and better support teachers on their English training journey. @HuyeDistrict you are up next. See you tomorrow!
