How successful was #shareEGU20? How many people virtually participated? How many sessions were there?
We break it down in "Sharing Geoscience Online — by the numbers"

All #shareEGU20 Short Courses can be watched on YouTube, including this course on #openscience and #FAIR data (data which meet principles of findability, accessibility, interoperability, and reusability). The course was organized, among others, by our ECS Rep, @TimVanEmmerik !
... and here are the wordclouds from some of the polls! Which was your answer? Thank you all for being there, an extraordinary party for a most extraordinary event! See you next year! #shareEGUcelebrate#shareEGU20@EuroGeosciences#shareEGU_Atmos
Many thanks for the live chat interactions during #shareEGU20! Now continue with commenting on presentations until 31 May on #EGUsphere https://t.co/1qbHpqyrrF
All presentations given at #EGU2020 Sharing Geoscience Online can be commented and discussed with the Authors until May 31, by using the virtual display boards! 490 abstracts in 23 GI sessions are waiting for your comments 🙂! #shareEGU20#shareegu20_gi
You can still use the virtual display boards to comment and discuss with the Authors all presentations given during our #EGU2020 sessions GI1.2 “COST Actions in Geosciences” (https://t.co/mpBQ3HCi2u @COSTprogramme) and GI5.1 “Ground Penetrating Radar” (https://t.co/l2D2KteYtx)!
I have no words to make a summary of #shareEGU20. EGU has been able to bring Vienna in my home, along with amazing science! Everything is still there in #EGUsphere, https://t.co/KDh59VdBzZ please continue to comment. Thanks to all attendants, conveners, organizers!!

A big advantage of #shareEGU20: I can still look at all the displays in no rush, think, post comments and send emails. I haven't missed any session or display of interest :)
Also, it was free! (Both money and CO2🌍!)
Thanks @EuroGeosciences for the organization!
What an incredible week at #shareEGU20 🌍 I will be forever amazed at how you guys managed to put together a virtual conference in little over a month. Thank you! Cheers! 👏
EGU is very lucky to have a LOT of volunteers who contribute to our organisations. This year, more than ever, you have all gone above and beyond.
So, to all our thousands of volunteers, sincerely.
Thank you.
We couldn't do any of this without you. #shareEGU20#EGU20
