However, at some point in your career, asking obvious questions stops being a sign of curiosity and starts being a signal.
Early in my career, a mentor changed how I operate.
Whenever I brought him a problem, he’d ask: “What do you think?”
At first, I thought he was dismissing me. He wasn’t. He was training me to think before escalating.
