@Jailbird35 The first year, she did it without realizing that she should probably let people know about it ahead of time, so only a few people(kiara, reine, I think ina?) were actually aware at the time to call. I like to imagine Mel remembered that and made sure to be available.
@Jailbird35 I think my favorite story of Mel is that on Ame's... Second? birthday, she set up a call-in stream for the EN girls to wish her happy birthday. Mel looked at this, went "I don't understand english so this can't stop me," and called in anyway.
@bignothingman I think that the boys who chose to stay must still see some value in toughing it out, at least relative to fully graduating, so it's clearly better for them. But the situation leaves an open wound for Cover to lose face, and there's no shortage of opportunistic antis.
@bignothingman Something I've been turning over in my head: Ultimately, this happened because the Stars weren't successful enough to justify the cost. Would it have looked better for Cover to have just cut the branch off as a whole rather than giving this... zombie streamer option?
Also I only clock g1 races, losing a random g2/g3 isn't that big of a deal. I'll consider it if there's something really critical in the shop that I need money for(hat, kale juice, literally 90 points worth of stat books).
If you've got <400 stamina around kikua sho or <600 around tenno sho, then you gotta just bite the bullet and buy a recovery skill. If my stamina is really bad at first inheritance(<250) I'll usually run triple tiara over triple crown.
@JerorawrXd I think that with something like wagyu, where it's really absurdly marbled all the way through, there's a reasonable argument to be had that it's better prepared on the side of medium versus less fatty cuts.
@kumakibbs For me recent events are... kind of motivating? I want to support who I can as long as its possible, and gigi recently talking about how stuff like EnReco really is special and not to be taken for granted struck a chord with me.
A domestic autofister arc helps too, heh.
@KHolosimp Give them a better understanding of the final day's schedule, and also a break day or two so the main story quest doesn't eat so much time, and I think things will work out better next time, especially with the lessons learned from this one. Hopefully they aren't discouraged.
@KHolosimp Really, I think the reason everyone's so sore over the S3 ending is that we had some legitimately very fascinating plotlines that didn't get satisfying conclusions. I think a lot of the girls though they'd have time on the final day before the main story stuff bulldozed them.
@Helmir_G3 Well, we know that those anti-corpo types will take any chance they can get to fan the flames. Most of the complaints I've seen are from people who were really excited leading into the finale, and(assuming staff improves for next time) that's probably reason for optimism.
