1️⃣ Ruben Dias has been with the team since 2020, a fulcrum in City's winning team over the past five years, most especially the treble.

He's incredibly vocal, and even when Bernado was on the pitch as captain last season, you could always see him speaking out and encouraging the team. Very good decision.

2️⃣ Erling Haaland is a born winner, who does his leadership majorly on the pitch, through his goals and putting in the shifts.

He's also very vocal in the dressing room, and is always seen pushing the rest to do better. Going to make a good captain in the future.

3️⃣ Marc Guehi is a captain material as well, been the captain at Crystal Palace before he joined in January, and has also done so for England.

A lot of people are complaining that he should not have been because he just joined six months ago, but that should not be a major deciding factor in choosing leaders.

4️⃣Gianluigi Donnarumma is another fantastic choice, having captained Milan at a very young age and is the current captain of the Italy football team.

Do you see the way he charges up the backline when they defend a shot? The way he puts his arms around the shoulder of the young ones in the dressing room? Great choice.

It’s the experience of going through so much and winning so much with everyone – it’s knowing what it takes to win and the consistency you need to have every day. It’s the ambition, how much you want it, willing to sacrifice. Your discipline, understanding messages from the manager, try and do what we must, recognise things that make you win. That’s when you become one. It’s the experience but also the simplest characteristics that make you a winner.

"It makes me feel good because I have good realisation of the timeline of football – it goes so quick and I’m in a moment where I appreciate and enjoy every opportunity I have on the pitch and play football at this level. The Community Shield was a tricky one – facing one of our main rivals. Obviously it was bad, we don’t like it, we hate it, it’s frustrating, but we need to keep working hard.

"Then we started the Premier League, and it was a very difficult first game but I watched the game and felt we were there and actually had a really good performance. Some things can always be better, but I feel we were very strong and dangerous. Maybe the second game is a conclusion of the feeling of the first one, but I feel what we're building, we're building strong and step by step in a very consistent way.

Gigi idk, maybe it’s his charisma with the players. Guehi though, the way he talks on that interview after the first game screams captain to me. Foden’s aura feels a bit weaker than these four, can’t really see him as captain rn. Maybe next season
