𝗙𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗗𝗼𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗮 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘂𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘁:

This video has two parts, and together they explain why so many doctors choose to leave Pakistan.

Part 1 allegedly shows an ACP in Burewala, Punjab misbehaving with an on duty female doctor inside a hospital. Reportedly, she was being questioned about not ordering a CT scan, something that according to our understanding could only be ordered by a consultant, which she was not.

What stood out even more was the arrogance, tone, and public humiliation. Calling an on duty female physician “Bibi” instead of “Dr Sahiba,” recording inside a crowded hospital with a mic attached, posturing like an interrogation officer, while patients stood nearby, is deeply inappropriate. It raises serious concerns about patient privacy, disruption of care, and abuse of authority.

Unfortunately, this happens because many powerful officials in Pakistan, especially bureaucrats, behave as if they are above the law. In most civilized countries, such conduct by a government officer inside a hospital would likely end careers.

Part 2 shows the complete opposite. In 2011, a senior surgeon at Guy's Hospital publicly confronted then UK Prime Minister David Cameron and Deputy PM Nick Clegg for violating hospital hygiene rules during a photo opportunity.

The surgeon spoke up despite their power because patient safety and professional standards came first. That is what happens in systems where doctors are respected and authority is held accountable.

Compare these two incidents carefully, and you will understand that doctors do not leave Pakistan only for money. They leave for dignity, professional respect, safety, and integrity.

افسوس کی بات یہ ہے کہ جن لوگوں کے اپنے دفاتر، عدالتیں، فائلیں اور انتظامی معاملات ہیں، وہ سب چھوڑ کر ہسپتالوں میں آ کر frontline doctors کو ہراساں کرتے ہیں۔ اگر اتنا ہی شوق ہے تو کبھی ہمارے ساتھ emergency duty کر کے دیکھیں، تب اندازہ ہوگا کہ چند سیکنڈ میں جان بچانے کے فیصلے کیسے کیے جاتے ہیں۔
ایک خاتون ڈاکٹر کی سرِعام تذلیل صرف ایک فرد کی نہیں بلکہ پورے medical profession کی بے عزتی ہے۔
مہذب معاشروں اور ہمارے ہاں کو فرق آپ دیکھ سکتے ہیں حالانکہ یہ چوتیا عقل سے فارغ بیوروکریسی ایسٹ انڈیا کمپنی کی سوغات ہے مگر وہاں آج بھی ہسپتال میں جاکر کوئی ایسی گھٹیا شعبدہ بازی نہیں کر سکتا۔۔۔۔

Ground realities:

In THQ Burewala, prescribing a CT scan is solely upon consultants. MOs can't prescribe on OPD basis.

In this video, this APWMO referred the patient to the consultant room. The patient went there, but the consultant was not available.

The patient went to CT room directly where the AC met them

The AC took them to APWMO room once again, misbehaved with the on duty doctor which is itself a criminal offense punishable by law, and the DMS in black shirt fully sided with the AC to save his seat and yes boss ok boss demeanor while the same DMS is the one preaching the MOs not to prescribe the CT scan.

The healthcare department has become such a scum that every tom dick and harry consider himself a boss. This behavior by the AC is highly objectionable,inconsiderate and unforgivable.

Totally legit. Doctors work 24/7. They are not paid according to their rights. Senior supervisors bully pg trainees and promote injustice and nepotism. No personal safety and dignity. Just harrassment and voilence of rights. People take them for granted too. 💯
