Israel is deep in the system. Theology & religion serve a political & colonial movement - providing legitimacy where it would otherwise be absent.

The Zionists needed legitimacy. The British needed justification for their presence. The US needs Israel today.

Religion provides the cover: this isn't colonialism, it's Jews returning to their land. Naive believers accept it because they believe the Bible says so.

Its defense industry is working around the clock. And not only the defense industry — also the rest of the industrial base in Russia is supporting the war effort.

China continues to modernize its armed forces and expand its nuclear capabilities without transparency.

North Korea continues to expand its nuclear program and supply to Russia.

While recent action has significantly degraded Iran's nuclear and ballistic missile programs, we must remain vigilant.

“Iran is very clearly now arising,” she said. “I don’t want to say a regional hegemon, but it is by far now the strongest regional power.”

“Hezbollah has also proven that it is much more powerful and definitely not finished, as many had predicted it had been since November 2024,” Saad said.

Citing Al-Akhbar’s reporting that the framework had already been negotiated in early March, Saad argued the parties appear to have relied on the assumption that Iran would collapse and Hezbollah would emerge severely weakened.

Saad notes neither occurred, arguing the agreement is “incongruous” with the balance of power on the ground.
