Eastern Iowa Honor Flight is dedicated to sending local Veterans to Washington D. C. to visit various historical sites and war memorials.

The Cedar Rapids/Iowa City Building Trades Council donated $22,000 to our Eastern Iowa Honor Flight. The funds were raised from the 11th annual Solidarity Ride held on July 31st, 2021.

This past Sunday, we had our first Orientation in a year and a half, for Honor Flight 39 on September 21st. 🙌����

Last week, Beverly Stevens donated $2020 to the Eastern Iowa Honor Flight in memory of her late husband Bill Stevens.

The funds were raised from citizens of Croton, Iowa. ✈️🇺🇸

Last weekend, the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City Building and Trades Council sponsored the 11th annual Solidarity Ride with proceeds going to the Eastern Iowa Honor Flight.

On Friday, November 8, EIHF will take part of the Iowa Veterans Expo at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Cedar Rapids from 10 am - 2 pm. This event is designed to connect area veterans with local organizations who provide various types of assistance and support to veterans.

At our last orientation meeting, Hyvee employees presented Eastern Iowa Honor Flight with a donation of $48,242! This donation was from the Register Round Up initiative in which customers at local area Hy-Vee stores. Thank you Hy-Vee!! #iowahonorflight #honorflight #veterans

During a recent board meeting, Niels Christensen presented Dick Bell with a donation of $940 on behalf of their group from Hobbytown. Hobbytown recently held a charity race for participants to race their RC cars at a designated track. Thank you to all race participants!
