We talk about Micro and Nano GCCs, with just a few hundred employees, as a new growth driver for India's GCC ecosystem.

However, they may also be the most vulnerable to AI-led disruption.

Small teams can be downsized quickly, work can be restructured using AI, and operations can be moved back to the US with relatively limited disruption.

Example: Opendoor shuts India operations, lays off 250 employees, and moves a few roles to the US.

I checked their growth rate, which is below the industry average.

AI has now replaced ghostwriting for content across blogs, white papers, LinkedIn posts.

Leaders use ghostwriting for thought leadership, content marketing, employer branding, personal branding, account marketing, etc.

In ghostwriting, the content was still written by a human and could have passed as written by a leader and could serve the purpose to some extent

AI content is often not easy to pass off as written by a leader and could do negative branding instead.

We all have the opportunity to punch above our weight by using AI.

So, the advantage will be greater for individuals and small teams to produce output similar to that of big teams.

I am seeing that firsthand in my line of business.

A caveat: We need to know when to use AI and when not to use AI and this is a moving target.

A good check is that the overall quality of your output using AI should be better than that of your output without AI and also better than the output produced by AI alone. The former is more common than the latter.
