Hozier makes a song explicitly about colonialism and indigenous people’s being oppressed and stripped of their native tongue. This moron thinks it’s just about a white guy loving languages and out of place on the album. Gave the album a mid review and said it’s the worst song.

B’ambasadóir é Manchán dár nglúin féin agus duine a bhí lárnach san athbheochán a tharla ar na mallaibh sa chultúr agus sa Ghaeilge. Sheas sé i lár an aonaigh agus thiocfadh a rá nár chuir sé é féin ansin ach gur chuir an pobal ann é.

Ina bhealach séimh féin, chuir sé i gcuimhne dúinn fán rl atá ag an teanga maidir le tuiscint níos doimhne a fháil ar an cheantar thart orainn agus orainn féin.

Mairfidh a oidhreacht i meon fiosrach spreagúil na nGael agus iontu siúd a théann sa tóir ar shaol níos doimhne agus fíoraithe.

Suaimhneas síoraí ar a anam Gaelach. 💚

Perhaps unwillingly, he was the foremost cultural ambassador for our generation and instrumental in the resurgence of Irish language and culture.

He gently reminded us of the role the language has in understanding our surroundings, and knowing ourselves.

His legacy will live on in the curious minds of the Irish and beyond, in those who seek a deeper and more fulfilling life.

Suaimhneas síorai ar a anam Gaelach 💚

A group of settlers just lynched Hamdan Ballal, co director of our film no other land. They beat him and he has injuries in his head and stomach, bleeding. Soldiers invaded the ambulance he called, and took him. No sign of him since.
