TRIP: It wasn't my intention to sing a lead vocal on this album but it just sort of happened (wonderfully accompanied by Lisa on the choruses!) Our take on a classic song. I sits well with the rest of the tracks & fits the overall mood of the album. It's a cool song!

As mentioned earlier, the very best way to listen to this album of ours is on CD as that's the way it was composed to be heard ie: one big flowing track. A 'concept album' of sorts with a number of recurring themes throughout.

TRIP: Getting back to the 'What Will Be?' Q posed in the intro, I like 'em all but, if pushed, I think this is my personal fave! There's a suspense to this track that I struggle to describe, a lyrical/musical code I can't quite decipher. That's probably why I like it so much!

TRIP: Reference-wise Lisa was hearing Blossom Dearie, I was channelling Astrud Gilberto and this is what we ended up with ie: a mellow little Bossanova tune that holds its own and provides a light, breezy gentle reprieve before the big album finale kicks in ... "NICE!"

TRIP: I'm really happy with how this one turned out! The words & music really complement one another - a perfect fit! They paint a musical picture and totally bottle those Summer night beach vibes. Definitely worth scaling those steps for Ellie!
