East Thurrock v Southend Manor U14. Tough windy conditions but we continued to play football. Some very good performances. E.Thurrock had bare 11 and tired but continued to try until the end. Well played. 👏⚽️

Southend Manor U14 v Grays black county cup quarter final. A proper cup tie. Well played Grays to come back from 2 down with a last kick penalty to take it to ET and penalties when SM were eventually victorious. On to the semi final and best of luck to an excellent Grays team.

U14’s progress through to the next round of the Essex cup. 👏Southendian Manor who battled hard throughout.

U14 away to Aveley in the county cup. 0-2 winners. Aveley had a good go throughout and at the end but 2 good finishes saw us through. 3 boys injured in a competitive game - wishing them all a quick recovery. Big thank you to Aveley - a top set of people.

U14 played top of the table Concorde who started well and it took a couple of fine saves to keep us in it. Even thereafter but 1 mistake cost us to go down 1-0. Pressure applied at the end but Concorde were strong. Fine margins are the difference between the top and the rest.

U15 won a tough fought cup game against Basildon scoring in the last couple for a 1-0. On to the next round. Thanks to Basildon best of luck for the remainder of the season.

U15 went down 1-0 to a good Stanway side away from home. U14 played extremely well to earn a 2-0 win against a good Brentwood side. Well done all for some great football.

U14 v Concorde. We were excellent 2nd half, but not quite as excellent as Concorde first half who came out of the blocks on fire. Well played, some lovely football seen and some real talent on show. Best of luck next round. 👏👏👏

U14 thank Witham for hosting. 3-2 loss against the run of play. A bizarre own goal and switching off either side of half time cost us. Performances recently not being reflected in results. When it does a very good team is in here.

U14’s thank Stotfold for hosting. Proper cup game at the end with SM pushing to equalise and a break away goal settling it. Good luck in the next round.

2-2 for the U14 v Billericay. Another game where we surrendered a lead in the last couple of minutes. However performances improving and thought we edged it today, especially first half. Good game to watch. Nice to play teams who want to play football.

U14 v Witham. A good game with both sides having their share of the game and chances. Witham threw everything at SM last 10 to earn the draw which was a fair result. Enjoyable to watch. U15 drew 3-3. Awaits a match report.
