I know it can be difficult on social media to ask your kids club questions. Sometimes its handy to be anonymous to be able to ask these without fear of backlash etc. So DM me and I’ll ask the questions for you! Let’s get answers for our kids!!
@EjaParents This is what is wrong with academy football, for one they take them far too young. It’s impossible to know how they will develop and to hear they then treat them like this is disgraceful. A proper release procedure has to be put in place at least!? @SpursOfficial
@EjaParents@EJALeague Our team will charge a maximum of
£350 for the season coming could be a touch less.
This is including
New home and training kits
Weekly Training
Cost of use of pitch ,refs fees and food and drink on matchdays.
I want to talk money today!! Heard some horror stories! Figures like £900 being mentioned! What do you clubs charge? How is it worked out? And who manages the money? @EJALeague#letthemplay
@EjaParents@EJALeague 3rd season of EJA and at £175 for new players and a bit less for those re-signing
Includes 2 kits and tracksuits etc. This season we will be training 2 x week. Senior club v supportive, good sponsors on board and supportive local school partnerships. Not pricing anyone out👍🏼⚽️
Dads, sometimes it will work out for you at a high level but you are doing it for your son or daughter, no matter what, your love is unconditional and we will love our children no matter what!
To Proud dads everywhere 👍
With mental health in sport being discussed so openly in the media. What are your views and experiences of this within the EJA? After all, grassroots is where the focus of dealing with this issue should start right?
Is your parent club just lending your youth team the badge or are they actively involved in your team and it’s processes? Like to hear all of your thoughts on this?
Not a lot of response from this. Sadly looks like people are still reluctant to talk about this important issue. I hope at least people are thinking about it and their children/players.

That ‘Footy Parent’ feeling of watching your child play. 🙌🏻🙌🏽🙌🏿
Here’s one to all Footy Parents who will know that feeling of pride of watching your child. 👏
@EjaParents Money comes before Loyalty in the EJA .
Can’t afford it you can’t play anyway .
Then you have the opinion Player development is enhanced by playing with talented players .
@EjaParents Here here!! tough call on your own son however there are different leagues and different divisions for a reason, i want my boy to play for Spurs academy but hes not good enough, at everyday school if your not quite good enough at maths you get dropped down a class........
@EjaParents You have to look at the clubs policy as well, success brings more success and pushes them up the ladder, at academy level its dog eat dog and EJA is one of the closest stepping stone to this, football for all is out the window for a majority of EJA teams 😩😩
Received a couple of DM’s over night. Both about pre-season and recruitment of players. This one grabbed my attention. What do we all think? How does your club go about this?
This has been an interesting one! A lot of DM as people reluctant to speak out. This is not an isolated case by no means. Been quite upset reading some about how trialling and being let go can affect the boys involved.
