Extra special fluorescence Friday today as we are celebrating @elysedigby and Seylyan Ayan in collaboration with the Winter lab (@ArthurHWinter) for their publication in J. Med. Chem. on photo-caged Br-DAPI!🥳 https://t.co/JDReon2aai
@OChemistree We have a colour changing #Chemistree in the @StAndrewsChem teaching lab this year. Theme is organic chem/2022 Nobel prize. Flasks containing glucose, methylene blue and thionin. The big flask contains cream of tartar, copper sulfate and a bit of peroxide. 1/2
@harry_c_sample Did you also have to pay to graduate? We have to pay like 150-200 (can't remember exact amount) for someone to look through it for formatting issues
I had my first code 8 experience in Australia. The spider was beefy and hairy and actively trying to attack me, possibly trying to take over the apartment. Luckily, the apartment is still standing and no humans were injured minus me being traumatized
Things that are smaller in Australia: washers & dryers, Oreos (cookie size & packaging), ovens, Pringles. Things that are larger: slices of GF bread & pints of beer. You win some and you lose some 😂
Check out the photochemical efficiencies for caging different functional groups with the latest-generation green-light and red-light labile BODIPY photocages. Colorful new work in #JOC by @ArthurHWinter and team https://t.co/kaneK5wmbR
I'm still extremely shocked, but very happy to announce that I officially have a job in Australia! I'm a synthetic chemist at Samsara Eco. Check out the super cute merch!
