SIMPLE TRUTH:
Everyone you know carries a different version of you in their head. Even those who see your posts have created a version of you that may be different from reality.
There is no single, universally agreed-upon โyou.โ So thereโs no point trying to please everyone.
"I support my man in every little way, I can support."
"No matter how little, but something for your man."
"How can you close your eyes and watch your man pay all the bills? Even if it is Maggi for soup, do something, no matter how little"
Na that "little" I no want. I dey forbid am. Why is every financial input you want to make in your relationship and marriage "little?" I want my partner's support in every way possible. You dey forbid to do big thing? Where is the partnership?
You're an adult. I expect you to behave like an adult and that includes, sorting bills.
Nigerian men wey dey foot all the bills get mind o .
Nigeria wey dey expensive pass some part of Europe !
I hail odogwu them o.
My kind of woman must bring something to the table, no matter how small.

The UK has joined Australia in banning social media for children under 16. It's a win for society! Well done, UK. Well done, Mr. Keir Starmer.
234 Land parents otherwise known as "Nigerian" parents, please learn!!! The West will give you stuff and then go round and ban it for their kids while those, who want to be like the west in everything, tend to take the bad part and indulge in it to the maximum worst.
Social media is making children unhappy due to comparison. And comparison, is the thief of joy. It creeps up one and steals any bowl of happiness that already was yours.
It's time parents started protecting their children from social media up until they're old enough to decide if they want to be good or wayward.
The West will protect themselves and their children as soon as they see things going awry but Africans who should be the chief upholders of values and morals tend to come last in these things.
If you're a parent reading this, the time to act is now even though legislation is yet to be implemented in your place.
Before any government, you're the first legislator in your child's life. Protect them from social media and instil values in them such that, when they're old enough to use social media, they won't be carried away nor moved by the whimsical nature of it.
It's in your hands first, before it falls into the hands of government and society.
Heed the Voice of Logic.
If an Average African man is doing well financially โGodโ is behind him but once things go a little bit south , Devil takes the blame.
Very useless mindset!
