From addressing teen loneliness all the way to sending them out to complete the Great Commission: The key is a heart connection with an adult who thinks and acts like Jesus, filled with the Spirit, and knows the Word.
Leadership is not defined by plaques, trophies or ribbons. It is taking those around you to a higher level. The question to ask of leaders is, “Did he make us better?”
Teenagers need to see their parents and church leaders taking the lead with (1). defining justice according to God’s Word, and (2). working toward truly biblical justice. A just God calls the generations to serve together.
Imagine you’re elderly, bedfast, and can’t control your body. Your adult child has to do unmentionable things for hygiene. Father, who exists in pristine holiness, has to come down and do that for our sin. Grace costs Him.
