100 Royal Palms were planted to promote environmental sustainability.With support from Karpowership,3,000 trees will be planted in the Subri Forest Reserve under the theme“Restoring Degraded Landscapes”,reinforcing the region’s commitment to fighting deforestation.

World Environment Day Celebrated with Tree Planting
Earlier today, Hon. Abdul Majeed Iddrisu Dokurgu, MCE of EKMA, joined the Western Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Nelson, and security agencies in marking World Environment Day with a symbolic tree planting at the Naval Base.

In furtherance of my continuing support towards the development of youth groups and enterprises in my beloved Kwesimintsim Constituency, I presented 3 computerized industrial sewing machines; two(2) to the Canada Fancy Club 2k19, the only fancy club in my beloved constituency and the other to a young entrepreneur to support his business, in fulfilment of an earlier promise I made to him.

The two industrial sewing machines presented to the Canada Fancy Club add to a full set of musical instruments I presented to the group last year.

I am optimistic that these donations will contribute immensely towards the advancement of the group as I look forward to joining them for their 5th Anniversary celebration in August and this year's masquerade festival. Come join us and let's celebrate together.
