@jeh7041 I am 45 years old, ive been working the entire time of the pandemic. About 25% of my workplace has had covid but nobody was hospitalized. I resumed grappling training in late april, none of my teammates have been sick. This overeeaction is absurd. The US must fully reopen.

@jeh7041 I live a bit outside of the city but in my community there seems to be a Trump sign or flag on about 1/4 of the houses. There are "Latinos for Trump" signs about every 50 meters along the major roads. One tiny Biden sign at an intersection, none in any yards.

@jeh7041 The one place where they made a long stop was in San Antonio in a real sketchy area. Tucson to NOLA took 2 full days. To top it off on the way back someone cut into my suitcase and stole some stuff. Never again. AMTRAK is awful.

@jeh7041 @SenMcSallyAZ I guess the upside is that it seems that Ron Barber actually runs the show and she just shows up to vote. Ron Barber is a good dude and about aa moderate of a Democrat as you can get. So Kirkpatrick is unlikely to take any extreme positions at all.

@jeh7041 @SenMcSallyAZ So Ann Kirkpatrick, our Rep., was out for about 8 weeks in the beginning of 2020 in rehab. She went to rehab because she was daydrinking, took the metro to go in to vote, and was so drunk she fell and broke her hip. Basically her chief of staff Ron Barber does all the work.
