JUST IN! President John Dramani Mahama has signed 10 Bills into law following their passage by Parliament during the Second Meeting of the Second Session of the Ninth Parliament.

The new laws cover customs, community service, tribunals, maritime offences, defence education, taxation, energy sector levies, cocoa, VAT and excise duties.

Government says the legislation will help modernise state institutions, strengthen revenue mobilisation and improve justice administration and economic regulation.
