During this unit I got a deeper perspective on the segregation that took place in the 1900s. Learning about the Sundown Town, Tulsa Massacre, redlining opened my eyes to the harsh discrimination African-Americans faced and how that continues to affect their daily lives. #HNRS0124

@jameslopez_NBT I truly admire Kamala Harris. She has broken many barriers throughout her career as a politician and attorney by becoming the first female, African-American, and Asian American Vice President of the US. She continues to advocate for civil rights and make a change in the world.
