I have often questioned decisions made by X and currently have an appeal pending with them.

Nevertheless, truth and fairness require us to get this one right.

The @GOP account is not suspended for violating X’s rules.

The official Republican National Committee simply changed its handle to @Republicans.

X temporarily displays the old handle as “suspended” during any username change — that is standard platform policy to prevent squatters from grabbing it.

It’s totally normal for the no-name candidate deep in 3rd place to give a tear-filled concession speech on election night and then miraculously receive almost every Democrat vote in the 2 weeks after the election to defeat the most charismatic Republican candidate in decades.
