We’re excited to officially debut Elba’s La Fiesta blend. Our farmer’s market clients already know about this one. It’s Elba’s first new blend in a few years!

Saturday was the last market of the season at Sainte Anne de Bellevue!
Thank you to all my clients for your support so that I may give back to the coffee pickers in El Salvador.

This is Don Napolíon. At 76 years of age, he’s getting ready to plant new coffee trees!
“When I went to Nicaragua in 2016, I stayed at his house for 1 week during the harvest. They are a very nice family”. -Elba

We would like to thank everyone who purchased our coffee during the pandemic from the bottom of our hearts.
With the sale of our coffees and some donations, these are some of the families that we were able to help in the highlands of Rancho Grande in Matagalpa, Nicaragua.
This year I couldn’t go to Central America, so I sent proceeds to a community organizer who went house to house giving donations to a total of 20 coffee pickers.
As soon as I am able to go on my own, I will do the same.
Thank you to all who support us by purchasing our coffee!
Happy Birthday Elba!
What an incredible journey your life has been! You’ve persevered through so much and are a constant source of inspiration; Not to mention the best roaster in town! We all love you very much Jefita!

Diamante, coffee from El Salvador!
☁️
These pictures were taken in November - just before hurricanes Eta and Iota.
Many plantations suffered damages, however, Central American people are resilient and they will recover in time.

It takes roughly 2,000 cherries to produce one pound of roasted coffee!
🍒
Naturally, the coffee cherries don’t all ripen at once, so coffee picking requires a great deal of care at each tree throughout the season.

PROUD.
Cafe Elba is both a Canadian and Central American owned business. Our founder and owner is a strong indigenous woman. We feel strongly about the work that we continue to do with the coffee pickers of Central America. These are the things we are proud of! #coffeetwitter
