@beverleyheeley Because your love for them is the fifth force of nature. And without them the unbearable becomes reality. And they do not stand alone, they are cherished, admired, adored. They are needed. X

If something enabled you to function, would you care if some folk thought it controversial?

Here’s a BBC short film which features me, saying yes, #ketamine really can treat depression.

When someone loses their battle with cancer the person is remembered as brave, courageous, strong (and rightly so).

When someone loses their battle with #depression their #suicide is remembered as shameful, weak, selfish.

Condemn illnesses, not people.

If you or someone you know lives with depression/is affected by suicide...

Do phrases spoken in jest, such as “I’m going to go and kill myself” or “I’m going to throw myself off a bridge” cause harm or offend you.

Please vote and retweet.

There once was a girl with #bipolar
Who had a most painful left molar
Her dentist said “drill!
Or a hole there you will”
So she quit her fave drink Coca Cola

I have a #mentalillness.
I have #bipolardisorder
I have knives in my kitchen.
I use knives to chop cheese and vegetables, not to be violent towards my fellow human beings.

Who knew.
