Arsenal fans say David Raya is the best goalkeeper in the league because he has won the Golden Glove three times in a row.

But let’s be honest… Raya is NOT the best.
The Golden Glove doesn’t automatically make you the best goalkeeper. A lot of Raya’s clean sheets are as a result of Arsenal’s elite defensive line.

Arsenal’s defence deserves a huge amount of credit. Last season, Raya faced the lowest shot on targets in the Premier League, because their defense is strong.

How do you concede when you don't face shots on target?

Put Raya in another defense and he will pack a lot of goals home. If he was the best goalkeeper, why did a 34-year-old Simon bench him at the World Cup?

Raya is a good goalkeeper. But is he the best? Never.
