As we are now living in a moment where everyone can talk about everything without knowing anything…

I think I can also make a suggestion. (The best thing I’ve heard these days was Felipe Gomes comparing him to Kobe)

For Cristiano’s farewell in a Portugal shirt:

4 friendly matches in his final year:

🇪🇸 vs Spain at the Bernabéu
🇧🇷 vs Brazil at the Maracanã
🇮🇹 vs Italy in Turin
🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 vs England at Old Trafford

It would be one of the best ways to honor the best player of all time, in the stadiums where he gave us some of our greatest memories, and against countries that deserve to be part of his farewell.

Cristiano deserves it. Football deserves it. And we, as fans, deserve it.

Play With Tomide: Because he knows how to speak english and in his mind, that automatically makes him intelligent. He's so proud and condescending and somehow believes his takes are always right and he can never be wrong.

Coach B: If he hasn't shouted "Ekpa" or advertised beer in one of his videos, he can't seem to make a football point.

Kombo: This one doesn't analyse football. He's only interested in rage baiting Ronaldo and Real Madrid fans.

These are the people y'all rate in this football space? The funniest part is that they belong to the same group. A bunch of people who think they're better than every other football fan simply because they got a microphone and sit in front of the camera to shout at the top of their lungs.

👕 One day, the truth always comes out.

Former France Football editor-in-chief and Ballon d’Or director Pascal Ferré has now admitted that his previous comments about Cristiano Ronaldo were wrong. He recently said in an exclusive interview that Ronaldo never actually told him what he claimed in 2021.

Before the 2021 Ballon d’Or, Ferré said in an interview that Ronaldo was “obsessed” with winning more Ballon d’Ors than Messi.

Ronaldo later publicly denied it, saying that he had never said anything like that to Ferré. He made it clear that his main goal has always been to help his team win trophies.

And now, years later, Ferré has finally acknowledged that he was wrong in the way he presented those comments.

Think about it. In 2021, a senior figure associated with the Ballon d’Or made a statement that portrayed Ronaldo to the entire world as “obsessed.”

And this is the same award that Ronaldo has won five times. What a remarkable story in football history.

Ronaldo is a crazy man honestly.

This was the moment the media turned against Ronaldo England vs Portugal at the 2006 World Cup.

Before that game, Ronaldo was simply a talented young winger who was becoming one of the biggest stars in football. But that night changed everything.

The Rooney incident became the story. Ronaldo was accused of influencing the referee after being seen winking toward the Portugal bench following Wayne Rooney’s red card. Suddenly, the narrative was no longer about the young Ronaldo. It became about Ronaldo being arrogant, calculating, and supposedly getting his teammate sent off.

The reaction was brutal. When he returned to England for the 2006/07 season, he was booed by opponents fans everywhere he went. Every touch, every game, every mistake came with a reaction. Some even thought he will leave. 😂😂

But not Ronaldo, And what did Ronaldo do? He stayed.

Then he proceeded to have the season of his life.

This is Ronaldo’s greatest achievement to me. The same kid they were booing all over England ended the 2006/07 season as Manchester United’s Player of the Year and was voted PFA Players’ Player of the Year. How many players do you think are capable of doing that??

2006 was supposed to damage Cristiano Ronaldo. It ended up becoming the beginning of his transformation from a talented Man U winger into one of the biggest players football has ever seen.

Was the policemen right here to shoot the dog, protecting himself from dog bite ?

Romario:

“Jorge Jesus didn’t keep his promise to Cristiano.

Look, brother, when a person doesn’t keep their word… a handshake is worth as much as a contract, if not more. It means more than anything else.

If someone doesn’t stick to what they promised, that means they’re acting in bad faith.

And if that’s what Ronaldo said happened, then he’s absolutely right.

You might say: ‘But Jesus was managing a national team?’

Okay, but Cristiano had already been disrespected once.

If the man didn’t keep his promise the first time, why stay for a second? Cristiano should have simply left.

Cristiano says that after warming up without being brought on, Jesus told him in the dressing room: ‘I’m sorry, I should have put you on. That wasn’t the right thing to do, and I’ll mention it in the press conference.’

But Jesus didn’t say a word about it in the press conference. He said nothing, not even a single word about what they had agreed he would mention.

On the other hand, maybe Ronaldo was arrogant or acted impulsively; but Jesus embarrassed Ronaldo in front of everyone.

Yes, he embarrassed him. And in that moment, Ronaldo felt disrespected and felt like he wasn’t important, so he left.

If I were in his place, I would have done the same.

Although before leaving, I would have told Jesus, ‘Go to hell’, I’d do that first but I definitely would have left.

In fact, I think Ronaldo made one mistake there: he should have told him ‘Go to hell’ from the very beginning”

"If I see any of you at Onitsha Head Bridge celebrating that you maintained a 1950s bridge for the South-East, Holy Ghost will kill you there. This country has no conscience. If you see the way the government is showing this bridge everywhere on the internet, you will think it is a newly constructed bridge, without knowing that it is a bridge built years ago. Imagine someone celebrating his car that he parked for over 50 years after repainting it."
