PVC COLLECTION AND MOCK ACCREDITATION EXERCISE IN ANAMBRA STATE
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) wishes to inform the public that Permanent Voter Card (PVC) collection for those who registered during the recent Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise in Anambra State will take place:
•From Wednesday, 22nd to Sunday, 26th October 2025
Registered voters who participated in the recently concluded CVR exercise are encouraged to visit the Registration Area where they originally registered to collect their PVCs.
INEC emphasizes that PVC collection is strictly in person. There will be no collection by proxy under any circumstances. All registered voters are urged to ensure they collect their PVCs within the specified period to be eligible to vote in the forthcoming Governorship Election in Anambra State.
In addition, the Commission will conduct a Mock Accreditation Exercise on Saturday, 25th October 2025 in selected polling units across the three senatorial districts of the State. This exercise will allow INEC to test the upgraded Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS), assess its response time, and test the uploading of results on the INEC Result Viewing Portal ahead of the main election.

INEC DISPLAYS PRELIMINARY REGISTER OF VOTERS (PRV) FOR CLAIMS AND OBJECTIONS IN THE FCT
Following the suspension of the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise in the FCT on Sunday 12th October, 2025, the Commission has commenced the display of the Preliminary Register of Voters (PRV) for Claims and Objections.
The display of PRV, which is in line with Section19(1) of the 2022 Electoral Act, is conducted at the sixty two (62) Registration Areas of the FCT.
The displayed Preliminary Register of Voters is the register of all intending voters who just registered in the FCT. The exercise will be taking place from 9am to 3pm daily, from Friday, 17th October, to Thursday, 23rd October, 2025; with Thursday 23rd October, 2025 being the day for the hearing of the Claims and Objections raised.
INEC FCT enjoins all those that have registered in the just suspended CVR exercise in the FCT to avail themselves of the display and visit the registration centres they registered to ascertain the correctness of their details, and make claims were applicable. Other voters are encouraged to visit the centres and check the displayed PRV to enable them raise objections to the inclusion of persons who are not eligible to register to vote.
