CA NEWS: 🚨 California midterms could decide a new per-mile driving tax.

Democrats just need a two-thirds legislative majority to pass it WITHOUT a public vote.

The plan would charge about 6–9 cents per mile on top of the state’s already high gas and vehicle taxes, roughly $900 a year for a typical 15,000-mile driver.

It’s just another tax hike on commuting, not a fix for roads that existing taxes were supposed to fund.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
