@DianneSaxe @SaraTorDan The reasons I challenged specifically Sara and Dianne are overlaps in experience and community. Dianne and I are both Greens, and despite my having negotiated two collective agreements, Sara has labour organization endorsements.

The situation calls for awareness and contrast.

Stand up E-scooters and e-dirt bikes are by far the most dangerous models of micro mobility. They don't belong on the streets of Toronto.

Cycling ≠ e-mobility.

Human powered motion > a motor

And I hate to anecdotally provide this evidence, but the fitness level of people who ride stand up e-scooters versus cycle is not equal. Add that it's much much easier to fall off in a scooter, and it's real danger risk.
