it is actually incredibly easy to force a dual type shiny to spawn, you just gotta make a donut for the type it is that doesn't correlate to the portal (you can see i have sparkling power dragon, this portal was water)

at this point literally everything that spawns in this portal has come up shiny at least once except emolga

happened to get a hyperspace pocket with what im looking for again but still wasn't having any luck there so i made a sparkling power level 3 donut to guarantee a shiny and wouldn't you know, there's my shiny clauncher immediately as i get in

in case you haven't caught onto what im doing yet im shiny hunting lida's team. i already have the staryu and i evolved that shiny eevee from a while back into vaporeon so that's two of em, and the vanillite i got earlier makes three so we're halfway there already
