Pogba seemingly paid to promote the scheme given the use of "#ad" in his tweets. He did not respond to request for comment. There is no suggestion he was involved in the scam, merely paid to promote it.

These schemes are particularly popular in Turkey where the economy is on its knees and inflation is running wild so people are attracted to get-rich-quick schemes.
