JEE Advanced 2026 candidate/result infrastructure (https://t.co/6mBpjkxH01) had a public cloud storage misconfiguration exposing bulk candidate data without auth.

This exposed ~179.6k result records and ~187.3k admit-card PDFs, including candidate names, DOBs and mobile numbers.

CBSE people didn't configure their AWS bucket properly and now we can paginate & enumerate all their media which has 2026 answersheets & question papers. ListObjectsV2 works without any auth and the bucket root is listable too — anyone on the internet can download any scanned booklet — across institutions. Multiple institutions are using the same bucket, insanely insecure.

We can keep on harping 5Tr Economy, 45Tr Economy and whatnot.

But at the same time: keep seeing job loss, the world kicking Indians out and absolute erosion of wealth from India.

You know why this is happening? Because we don't have an export led growth model.

Indian IT created massive wealth in the last 20 years. This was a labour arbitrage model, which generated the new 'middle class' in India.

The world truly needed Indian IT workers. The way need cheap Chinese exports. We were competitive when it came to labour model on IT.

This model is fast dying now. We need to figure out some other export led growth model

Exports is what brings real wealth.

1) Build export competitiveness like China across some industry.
2) Or build a tourism narrative like Dubai.
3) Built an efficient society like Singapore (which is honest, transparent and clean).

All this can be done.

But, it won't be done if you keep reservations, high taxes, brutal corruption and cronyism.

More importantly: people should start seeing political leaders as workers (not god figures). Their job is to deliver. They are not there to do photo ops or travel the world on public money.

Similar thing happening withing our team as well.

It writes crap, and then engineers are on it to make it work. It works, but the quality sucks, and is taking away the ability to code and think somehow I feel.

I tried it initially, but now am writing bare minimum stuff with it. Mostly the small stuff, nothing major. AI is not going to take anything, get your fundamentals on point, and you will be more valuable than ever.
