My wife and I have just spent a fantastic few days in London; at no point did we feel ‘unsafe’. What we experienced was a vibrant, diverse, positive city.

I contrast the racist meatheads climbing lampposts and putting up scruffy St George’s flags made in Chinese sweatshops with the Spanish couple we chatted with at a lovely restaurant, both of whom work in the city.

I certainly feel a stronger connection with the Spanish couple. 🇬🇧
