Many kids are even told online to lie to doctors just to get hormones faster.

Girls are also 2.4 times more likely to detransition later.

Parents are noticing mental health nose-dives, broken family ties, and teens cutting off anyone who isn’t fully onboard.

Experts call this “social contagion.”

Basically, gender identity going viral like a TikTok dance.

It’s not saying being trans isn’t real, but that some cases might be emotional coping in disguise.

Whether it’s liberation or a symptom, one thing’s clear: this isn’t just about identity.
