@BelindaTeaches@BenisonMrs For a child, what is the experiential difference between a teacher who does what you do and one who caters to learning styles?
It’s often in reflection that parents realize how their deepest and most fundamental perspectives influence the millions of parenting decisions they make everyday. How much of a difference do you make? How much is luck? #ParentingTips
@BelindaTeaches@BenisonMrs This is a perfect example of people letting research criticism short-circuit their logical mind. Yes, formal learning styles have been debunked. But, do we think every child benefits equally from a variety of different pedagogical approaches? I don’t.
I’m a teacher and PhD student. I make educational videos for young children on YouTube. The video I just posted is the best I’ve ever made. Give it a watch and a share! “Jimber Junior” on YT.

“What should you avoid?
❌ Having kids practice answering certain kinds of questions.
❌ Placing greater emphasis on comprehension skills & strategies than on the content of the texts being read.”
