@stephen_coyne Slightly off topic, but I lived essentially 3 doors up from here for 6 yrs and the number of times I heard visitors mutter "*this* is Dublin Castle? was depressing. I always directed ppl 'round back to the garden and cafe and bright paint, which I always loved.
Remember how gay and bi people were monstered in the 1980s and 1990s by media outlets and politicians.
The same thing is happening against trans people.
Don't be silent: speak out against this horror show.

@norespawns In a January you need to stick to the south & SW. I'm gonna say New Orleans or Atlanta for food and music. Arizona for the Grand Canyon and desert. The Ozarks for Nat'l Parks/mountains. If it were me, I'd go to Belize ️☀️🕶️
@deirdrenugent4 Sorry to tell ya, not Irish. I was born and raised 200 miles from the Canadian border in the middle of America-and that idiom is common as muck. ☺️ (True, but also see what I did there?! )
@ickle_tayto Oh serendipity. @vandalhandle taught his first class to young'ins over the summer and was looking to do an adult class in Winter/Spring. Would you be interested in like a weekend out here, for a nice walk and some very relaxed classes at the Sculpture Center in Manorhamilton?
@epredator I think about it at times like this; Data podcaster "VR and AR ok, but the interoperability with audio and information. It's radio people."
And I'm over hear like 🙄 yeah...I know.
@IzzyKamikaze It's the change right? Had all summer to demolish the livingroom walls; first crack of thunder and seeing flowerpots flying down the street and I'm like 'yeah, let's get all the doors open and start hauling'.... 🙄 #whatarewelike
This is what scraping data from a given place and time looks like when you build a model with it. Agree/disagree this approach has real impact on helping all of us understand better. #dataviz
My graphic of vacant sites and 3,786 entire #Airbnb houses/apartments in Dublin. 10,568 people are homeless (7431 adults and 3137 children) but yet more than 70% of all residential zoned vacant sites in #Dublin are owned by Dublin City Council or State Controlled.

@GWillowWilson I was not sporty in the least, but took tap and swing at the local (big deal) Children's Theatre classes. At 16 I spent a summer learning wigs and set dressing there as well. It was a lot of fun.
