“Yea, I definitely don’t think we should have taken the stop but, the call came literally just before the pit lane entry line. I didn’t have time to debate.”

“You have to trust the decision that’s been taken but in hindsight my tyres were totally fine. I was probably gonna lose out to Max but I think I could’ve kept 3rd, at least. And then, yea, just opened up the door to the penalty that I got in the end.”

We’ve got this marker board on the left-hand side that stipulates the 80km /h speed limit. I don’t see that [speeding]. Let’s have a look at the exit. Obviously knew he was under time pressure to get out in that race with Antonelli. Again, for me, it sounds like he releases the pit lane button on the line itself."

Before the race Fred was talking about how important track position is. When Lewis asked if he would be okay for the end of the race on the second hard tyre Santi said focus for now and we will manage tyres when ahead of Verstappen. And then they go and fucking give up track position when we have seen ALL DAY that you cannot pass. They could have claimed a P2, Max’s softs would have not been in good enough condition to attack at the end. Holy shit the incompetence. Could have EASILY put a few points on Antonelli, and instead they give up more points, do they even care? Shit man they’re not even willing to attempt going for the championship
