@Sargon_of_Akkad I really do not see what the point of this post is. Sure, the morality of Norway has changed. So what? It will change again and again, as morality always does. If there is one great truth it is that time erodes all things.
@kunley_drukpa I am convinced some of these books are put here just because its "correct" to have them there without anyone actually reading them. You can't tell me you read the Idiot and think Faust or Dialogues are better. And who tf put Lolita up there... Wannabe smart list.
@paulg That's a phenomenal office! Not too minimalistic, and yet not too heavily decorated. I could see some minor decorations added to this, but overall I think its great!
@darwintojesus Hence why universalism is the only form of Christianity which seems appropriate. Either everyone is eventually saved, or we are dealing with a divine entity who's morals are either utterly alien to us or simply are non-existent in the way in which we view morality.
@badazn Is it? I lived in Tanzania for two years, and the vast majority of them were great and kind people. Many of them hard working too. This is clearly a mentally ill person who needs help, and reducing it purely to race is pathetic.
@areikm@veganfitnessric I have been vegan for some years, yes. I’m just very concerned when vegans promote veganism a super easy diet & ultra processed vegan foods as somehow no less bad than say your average chicken or egg. A healthy vegan diet requires sticking primarily to whole foods + supplements.
@Rothmus An obvious falsehood. Socialism was a response to hard times for the working classes of Europe, particularly in Germany, France and England. This created the labour movements, which were able to pass labour laws and social welfare to create better times for the working class.
Based on what? There have been so few self-proclaimed atheists throughout history that they can hardly have been responsible for that much to begin with. Contrast that with Christians and all the wars they have engaged in. I’m inclined towards Christianity, but let’s not play pretend.
@joakial_ Rather than this meme, we should actually work towards a more united Nordic region. Together we can be a powerful political block against the coming multipolar world and maintain our way of life.
