Well, my first doodle on paper after 3 months!✨ (≧▽≦)
Copied from the new merch I'll never own, so just drew it for fun... T_T)
Plus I'm making progress on my OCs! Won't show them until they're 100% complete though! 😤💖 #artmoots 🌙
does anyone else feel randomly guilty for their past even though it's been years and years and you changed and nobody even knows what you did back then but you still feel bad about it for some reason like why does my brain even care at this point i'm being ragebaited by myself
The autism experience of getting in trouble without understanding why, and not being explained what you did "wrong"
(In fact, asking for an explanation might make the other person even angrier)
After 9 years of identifying as a woman, I am detransitioning.
I know this is shocking. I know this is sudden. It's sudden for me too.
It would be a lie if I said "I've been thinking about this for a while", because I haven't. It took about 15 seconds for me to make this decision from the moment I saw the huge queue to the female bathrooms at London Waterloo.
For the next 2 minutes, I identify as a man.
"Hi, I'm self-diagnosed autistic."
"How dare you think you know better than doctors! Only a professional can decide if you're autistic or not!"
"Hi, I'm diagnosed autistic."
"Well, clearly the doctors who diagnosed you are incorrect because I've decided you can't be autistic."
i think an issue with the “oh everyone has x diagnosis now” is that they don’t understand statistics and how having access to the internet means we’re going to see more of each other. that plus more understanding of diagnosis criteria as we learn more bc that’s how science works
The DSM requires a lot more than just sensory sensitivity to get diagnosed. And it has to be present since childhood, and it cannot be explained by another diagnosis or medical condition.
In fact it's possible to be autistic and not have sensory sensitivity.
“i would obviously never judge you if you’re autistic” no you would. you just wouldn’t judge a person who has TOLD YOU they’re autistic. it is so often a hidden disability and you have 100% talked to autistic people without knowing they’re autistic
So, lemme get this straight. These mangas/animes are considered "woke trash" by right-wings cause they have inclucivity, complex plot, in-depth world building, great characters, are created by women, and isn't your generic male protagonist fighting harem incel slop?
Right...
@epballou Like the kids right now use autistic in the exact same way "retarded" was 5-10 years ago. It's the go to insult right now for them. Phones not working properly "my phone's being autistic"
