Anyone else feel like their weekend is just Saturday? Like Saturday they are mentally detached from work, but Sunday, even if no physical work takes place you’re thinking about it/thinking that tomorrow you’re up early and it all starts over again?

A brains top priority is safety. So,it is biologically impossible for a pupil to process or absorb information if they are overwhelmed or in a state of stress,worry, or anxiety.Without safe,predictable,attuned,emotionally available adults, development & attainment will suffer🧠🌱

I was in a school last week where I taught in four separate rooms and in every room, every single board pen I picked up, actually worked. I know it’s still September but it genuinely felt like sorcery.

If you asked me which staff member I worry about most, it's the SENCO. Their job is incredibly tough. Ours is out of class full time and it’s still not enough. Constantly told by the LA that students don't meet thresholds—it's exhausting. Parents, understandably, want help, but the NHS wait times are long and the battle for funding from the LA is even longer. The system is broken. Both parents and schools need more support. #SENCO #Education
