It took me approx the same amount of time to go through security (slightly less even) than it did to go through the line to pay for parking for a 7:15pm screening at AMC Citywalk

A lot of people upset about the universal bubble and going to AMC - I hope it becomes easier to get middle seated IMAX tickets in the future now since all these people making it sound like they don’t want to visit Universal Cinema anymore 😂

The only *actually* annoying thing about Citywalk Hollywood’s new security perimeter is that the whole thing was built in the time that Insomnia Cookies had had “coming soon” signage up in the window.

I swear that’s been sitting closed for almost two years at this point.

The idea of knowing everyone in the movie theater has gone through security and the likelihood of gun violence drops should be a GOOD THING.

🚨 All visitors attending AMC Universal Citywalk must now pass through a new, permanent security screening checkpoint to enter. If you are attending a movie screening, please arrive much earlier than usual (especially during summer crowds). 🎬

@shmuckula @ParkWizar1 @UniStudios This is also my local AMC - I visit 1-2x a week and this new security hub makes me feel SAFER to be a regular at this location.

An extra 5 minutes to go through security for the peace of mind is no big deal.
