- Anthropic console prompt optimization and evaluation
- Claude Artifacts for artifact generation like flow charts
- ChatGPT-o1-preview/canvas for reviewing/refining writing

This is a subset of my stack. When I feel performance deteriorates for any one tool or model, I switch to other alternatives. Bad idea to overcommit to one AI tool or product. I am also constantly experimenting with different models.

My work varies between writing, research, coding, product, marketing, and business operations. These tools, and many others, are simplifying the way I do work.

Great story tonight.

There’s been this guy who works at our local coop bagging groceries.

He’s handsome, put together and always seemed intelligent when we made small talk.

Looked around my age (45).

Something didn’t add up.

I ran into him tonight at our block party.

Turns out he lives on the street next to
me.

Average income in our neighborhood is north of $100k and home prices start around $500k.

Hmm.

I finally decide to ask.

Turns out he used to be a book publisher.

Then had a big job at Amazon.

When he moved to Minneapolis with his family a few years back he decided the best way to meet people was to work at the grocery store.

Fascinating.

I love the move!

He didn’t need the money so he just wanted to be friendly and meet people.

He spent two years working there.

He quit recently.

He’s now running for the Board of Directors.

He’s leaned a lot while working there and wants to use his business experience to help improve the coop.

A great reminder that life isn’t about maximizing money forever.
