We’ve wrapped up Year 1 of our large-scale #WaterMonitoring project in the #ColumbiaBasin. It was a busy year of selecting monitoring sites and installing monitoring equipment to track climate impacts on water. In 2023, we’ll expand this project into two new areas in the Basin.
Biomonitoring is looking at life in rivers and streams to better understand their health. It can detect declining water quality and alert us to the presence of invasive species and harmful pathogens.
