@RilieBJMU @ArianaWilson01 @wears_cori Hey Rilie! I think our presentation turned out well! I'm excited to hear different ideas from all of the other groups! #EDUC200#04Fall21
I found this really interesting because we talked about it in class! Greeting students at the door, no matter what grade level they're in, is a great way to create a community for students in which each student is encouraged to enter with a positive attitude.

With my whole ❤️ I agree with this! It’s the best part of my day. I’m going to add “Welcome Home” to my morning conversations

@IsaacWeissmann Hi Isaac! I thought that learning about the critical principles was really interesting. My mom is a speech pathologist at a school, and I have heard her talk a lot about IEPs. It was cool to learn more about them and better understand what she does too!
@SydneyOSutton Hi Sydney! I thought it was really interesting that each of these very different paradigms throughout history still leave some impact on education today. The legacies we discussed in class all played an important role in the ways that we learned.
Hi! Today in class we talked about the meaning of equality and equity. My group, based on the videos we watched, said equality is when everyone gets the same thing, whereas equity is when everyone gets the something that they need. #EDUC200#04Fall21
@ArianaWilson01 I thought the video of the morning meeting was really interesting! I don’t remember ever experiencing anything like that when I was in elementary school, but I think it is a great way for teachers to help students become more comfortable in the classroom!

I think this article also shows dependability because it discusses how NASA has been working with private companies. In order for this partnership to be successful, each must be reliable and do what they say they will do.

I think that impact is another google norm at work here! The article mentions that a movie is made up of thousands of ideas, meaning that every contribution has a significant impact on how the movie turns out.

This article discusses Taylor Heinicke stepping up as Washington's starting quarterback. It shows "dependability" because Washington is relying on Heinicke to do a good job and help the team become successful.
Hi! After class, my eyes were definitely opened to how poorly funded some schools in the U.S. are, which is so sad because I feel that students should have the ability to go to a school that will help them succeed regardless of where in the country they live.
