After careful consideration, we have decided that x is no longer an appropriate platform to share our news about our lovely college. We will be moving to instagram in future so please look out for us there

We created a Good Life Charter for Ellesmere College @Glabalactplan . We love telling people about our litter picks and tree planting and encouraging them to get involved. Our next plan is to educate people about food waste.

The common Hawthorn can grow to 15 metres tall which is similar to 3 giraffes stood on top of each other. We have plenty of Hawthorn at Ellesmere which is great for wildlife.

We've got a few young oak trees on our site which is great because they support more life than any other native tree species in the UK; even its fallen leaves support biodiversity @woodlandtrust

Some more facts about one of the tree varieties on our site.

[EllesmereCollePost16 @EllesmerePost16]

It was National Tree week this week so we've been identifying trees on our site and making information sheets.

Following the Carbon Literacy training I completed with @EcoSchoolsLCC I'm now reducing the meat in my diet. I'm keeping track during November by adding a bead to my bracelet every day I go veggie.

[EllesmereCollePost16 @EllesmerePost16]

We are taking part in Cut Your Carbon month. We will be sharing tips over the month.
