I love the Guardians...I really do. Barely miss a game.
Their failure to understand when to use ABS is mind-numbing (Fry the latest). Although it's only been 10 weeks, the team deserves a D- (only because I don't like to fail people).
🚨🎙️| Joe Hart on West Ham’s disallowed equalizer vs Arsenal, accuses VAR of saving Arsenal’s title hopes:
🗣️“Listen, I don’t care what anyone says, that goal should’ve stood. VAR has absolutely ruined moments like that. West Ham fought for that equalizer and somehow they’ve found a way to disallow it for the softest little touch you’ll ever see. If that’s Arsenal scoring at the Emirates, nobody even checks it for more than five seconds.
And this is what frustrates fans, Arsenal have lived off those scrappy, aggressive goals all season. Blocking keepers, crowding the six-yard box, little nudges here and there… suddenly when it happens against them, it’s ‘clear and obvious.’ Give me a break.
I was a goalkeeper, I know when a keeper’s genuinely impeded and when he’s looking for help. There’s no way you can tell me that was enough contact for the goal to be overturned. The game’s gone soft. West Ham have been robbed, simple as that.
You wonder why fans think certain clubs get favourable decisions because moments like this keep happening. Arsenal are in a title race and somehow every 50/50 call seems to land their way. That equalizer changes the whole atmosphere of the game and VAR bottled it. Absolutely bottled it.”
Just wanted to highlight how ridiculous the 1st inning of Kerry Wood’s 20K masterpiece was:
- 100mph to the umps face to start the game
- What HoFer Craig Biggio called his most embarrassing swing of his career
- Strikes out NL batting leader Derek Bell on possibly the nastiest, definition of fall-off-the-table, curveball you’ve ever seen
- Strikes out HoFer and one of the greatest fastball hitters…on three fastballs.
-Just absolutely disgusting stuff
- Kerry Wood Forever
We need new rules from next season to prevent GK's faking injuries to receive new tactical instructions. They don't even try to hide it.

The club that has spent £2.233 billion the last 3 seasons; and spent a large chunk of this Wembley semi-final theatrically throwing themselves to the floor won.
Chelsea were resurgent after their ‘supply teacher’ was relieved of his job. Turned out it was the worst time to play Chelsea who showed none of the quality their riches deserved.
Leeds changed tactics at HT and switched to a back four and caused the London club massive problems. To combat this, Robert Sanchez got an “injury” and the whole Chelsea team went over for a team talk.
The Blues were suddenly much more composed after that.
Leeds didn’t do enough to earn a place in the Final despite being hampered by a referee who fell for Chelsea’s theatrics at every turn and allowed them to snuff any momentum Leeds had started to build up over the match.
Another visit to Wembley, still not seen Leeds score.
