Introducing Zoรฉ - our new regional executive head chef educator!
We're transitioning from contract catering management to in-house catering in order to help integrate food into our curriculum, change our dining culture and help children build positive relationships with food.
๐ One of our headteachers, Wendy Lee, addressed a group of West African headteachers and school owners who were in the country to find out more about the UK education system. It's nice to see our expertise yet again helping to influence education globally.
โฐ๏ธ Thank you to the Millfield Primary staff members who just hiked Snowdon and raised ~ยฃ1700 to enhance SEN (special educational needs) provision at the school.
๐ We hope you feel on top of the world!
The theme of this year's Green Curriculum was food - how it is grown and produced, how we cook it, what happens to our bodies when we eat it, and the importance of a sustainable food system.

As the academic year draws to a close, we wanted to share some pictures from our TEFAT Food Festival. Each school showcased what they'd learned about food education this year then invited in their communities to share in some joy.

โค๏ธA heart-warming story...
A pupil with Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) shared his dream to sit in a Rolls-Royce with the pastoral team.
In true Billesley style, they helped make that dream a reality. Cue a ยฃ500,000 Rolls-Royce Ghost entering the school gates.
@BPrimary
๐ These primary-aged students were the first to be invited to STEMfest, but despite their competitors being secondary school age, they won 3 prizes, including runners up the main final. Their project focused on making storm-resistant housing in Wisbech. Well done!
๐Inclusion is at the heart of everything we do at Elliot.
โ๏ธThis term, we are absolutely thrilled to celebrate 7 incredible colleagues who have successfully completed our Aspiring SENDCo course!ย Theย future of SEND leadership is looking incredibly bright!
