🏥 Hands-on learning in action!

@YorkD205 students explored careers in healthcare through the KidsMatter Springboard Series, gaining real-world experience with CPR, operating room procedures, medical equipment and more.

York High School students took the stage for this year’s Collage Concert, featuring performances from band, dance, choir, orchestra and music production. District 205 fourth graders got a special preview during the school day before York students returned to the stage for an evening performance.

Today, we remember and honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

Throughout this week, Bryan Middle School students visited a September 11 Memorial in the auditorium as part of their social studies classes. The memorial provided students with an opportunity to reflect, remember and learn.

Through staff reflections, newspaper and magazine coverage, photographs and multimedia, students learned more about the events of that day, the lives that were lost and the lasting impact of September 11.

It was a meaningful opportunity for students to connect with an important moment in our nation’s history and understand why we continue to remember.
