It's been 8 years since I first read Demon Slayer on the 26th of August 2018. I'd like to review it again since the ending is available (SPOILERS)

Demon Slayer stayed with me not because of power scaling or the grand spectacle of its fights, but because of what it says about humanity, love, legacy and how kindness can outlive cruelty across generations.

What I love most about the ending is its refusal to grant evil eternal permanence.

Muzan spent over a thousand years destroying lives, desperate to make his existence unavoidable, yet in the future, demons are gone, forgotten and irrelevant.

The Demon Slayers never fought for fame. They fought so future generations could live ordinary, happy lives without carrying that burden. Even though there were a lot of sad things that make me cry in the story, I also feel hopeful. (1/6)
