WSJ's Dan Neil on @Tesla's FSD (Supervised):
"By the end of the second hourâI was bewitched. FSD is amazing. I acknowledge I am a sample group of one, with only the scantest evidence to work with. Still, I know good driving when I see it. Mile by mile, the FSD started to earn my confidence. In the whitewater-like eddy and flow of rush-hour interstate traffic, FSD held its position beautifully: stopping distances, following distances, lane centering, the gradients of acceleration, steering and braking, all playing out in smoothly continuous linear functions."

Tesla is officially holding a âTesla Semi Rolloutâ invite-only event to celebrate the opening of their new Semi Factory in Sparks, Nevada.
Attendees will be able to tour the factory and experience Semi on ride alongs.
Just got this invite in my email!
This is Tesla's new Semi truck factory in Nevada where the event will be held on Sept 24th. This factory is different (and much bigger) than the smaller pilot line that they held their previous 2022 delivery event in.
When fully ramped, this new factory will be able to produce 50,000 units per year. Mass production is officially starting.
The new version of the Tesla Semi uses:
â˘Â Fully electric steering assist (vs hydraulic before)
â˘Â Beefed up Cybertruck actuators
â˘Â 48 volt architecture
â˘Â 4680 cells, designed to last 1M miles
Two things to note about this:
1) This is the first price increase for the Cybertruck Premium AWD trim since it launched almost 2 years ago.
2) Everyone that paid $60k for the Dual-Motor AWD got an absolute steal of a price. Its starting price is now $15k higher.
Elon Musk checking out @SpaceX's new Starbase, Louisiana location.
Elon: "If you want to make life mutli-planetary, you need serious tonnage. I think we're going to bring 10,000 really exciting jobs to Louisiana. I think Starbase is cool. Starbase, Louisiana it is."
This is cool, you can now give Grok a ton of commands at once in your Tesla and itâll do them all together.
The commands I gave:
⢠Fold mirrors
⢠Turn on wipers to fastest setting
⢠Change temp to 65°
⢠Open self-driving app
⢠Open glovebox
Comes with Teslaâs 2026 Summer Update.
Tesla has released some new pet items in their shop:
⢠Dog Mode Chew Toy: $20
⢠Cybertruck Pet Liner: $145
⢠Dog Mode Plushie: $35
⢠Dog Mode Bandana: $15
⢠And more

SpaceX will now give you a $100 cash payout to your bank account for every @Starlink referral that you make (in place of a service credit, which you can choose instead).
â˘Â Where cash is available, you can switch to cash, linked to your bank account, for future referrals under the Referrals tab in your Starlink account portal.
â˘Â Rewards default to service credit (applied to your account and deducted from your next invoice).
â˘Â Select your reward type (cash or service credit) in your account. Reward type is based on this selection at the time your referee activates service.
Tesla is using an RBG light bar on the front of the Cybercab that changes to different colors so riders getting picked up know which Cybercab is theirs.
So far we've seen purple, green and orange colors.
Korean Air plans to introduce @Starlink in early September, offering passengers free onboard Wi-Fi for online gaming, video calls, and other high-bandwidth services.
If launched as planned, Korean Air will become the first Korean airline to offer Starlink.
Nvidia today announced that @SpaceXAI will deploy Vera CPUs to accelerate its next generation of agentic AI applications.
"SpaceXAI plans to expand its AI infrastructure behind Grok on Nvidia Vera Rubin, while extending an optimized Vera Rubin NVL72 into space with its first-generation Starmind satellite.
SpaceXAIâs work with Nvidia is moving beyond AI factories on Earth. SpaceXAI is developing AI computing infrastructure for orbit, where power, thermal management, bandwidth, reliability and physical integration impose dramatically different constraints from conventional data centers.
SpaceXAIâs planned first-generation Starmind AI satellite will be based on the optimized Nvidia Vera Rubin NVL72 rack-scale system, extending the same accelerated computing architecture powering next-generation AI factories on Earth into space.
Nvidia and SpaceXAI are working to adapt that foundation to the requirements of orbital computing while preserving a common Nvidia architecture and software ecosystem.
This delivers one computing foundation across a wide range of environments: Vera CPUs accelerating increasingly sophisticated AI agents, Vera Rubin powering the AI infrastructure behind Grok and gigawatt-scale AI factories on Earth, and Nvidia accelerated computing extending into orbital AI infrastructure."
